Time for some serious cricket at the Eden Gardens. Gautam came in from Baroda straight after attending Yusuf Pathan’s reception and was raring to go in the nets.
He was joined by Debabrata Das and Laxmi Ratan Shukla, both of whom were fresh from their Mushtaq Ali campaign – and looked fit and in form.
Yet another addition to our coaching staff, Trevor Penney joined the squad as fielding coach and almost immediately made a difference to the intensity of the sessions.
